Hi Jan, thanks for your response. It's interesting that you mention yout friends with ADHD. I wondered if I had mentioned in my story that my ex partner had ADHD - I checked and I had not.

At the time of the relationship, they were diagnosed ADHD but I was undiagnosed and hadn't even considered that I was neurodivergent. So I accommodated her a lot but thete was no accommodation in my direction. I realise now that it was a way of controlling me.
