I felt strangely agitated reading your piece because so much of what you said was spot-on. Zoom fatigue is so bound up with work stress for me (I've written about it on this platform) that the prospect of doing it after work to socialise, or worse - date - made me want to stick pins in my eyes. My heart would sink to my toes whenever I saw the dreaded message "would you like to do a video date". I never caved but felt more guilty than triumphant. Thanks for some much-needed validation!
