There's some shitty advice out there for sure that's nothing more than toxic positivity. But I do find meditation very helpful for regulating my AuHD brain and nervous system.

Some great stuff is available through meditation apps and I'm drawn to those that let me acknowledge and accept the chaos of thoughts in my brain. Approaches that try to fight or control thoughts don't work- ND or not. It's more about getting some distance from my thoughts so they don't consume me.

I also think 'self help' is a very broad category which tends to lump a lot of very different things together and diminishes some things that are really insightful.
